The flagship of the new 192 Series, the WaMi Rack 192X offers all of the
same versatility that its predecessors have become famous for, but now
supercharged with the power of 192kHz digital sound quality. Housed in a
single-rack space box, the WaMi Rack 192X is designed to form the
centralcore of a complete 192kHz/24-bit recording system. Features
include four studio-quality discrete XLR mic preamps (line/mic
switchable) inputs with +48V Phantom power, headphone output with
independent level control, built-in MIDI interface, Coaxial S/PDIF
connectors.


Our secret's out. Not only are the WaMi Rack's four studio-quality
discrete XLR mic preamps ultra-clean, but our state of the art A/D
converters are designed to handle up to 123dB. The best rated converters
in the world.


And ESI is high on the crest of the new wave. The WaMi Rack 192X goes
beyond offering full compatibility with Dolby Digital 5.1 and DTS 5.1
surround formats and is ready to support DTS ES 6.1, and 7.1 new
surround formats. Used with a software decoder such as the WinDVD Player
the 192X transforms your PC into a full-blown 5.1 home theater system.
WaMi Rack 192X also support true 192kHz/24-bit resolution for DVD Audio.


All of ESI's 192 series (including the WaMi Rack 192X) supports ESI's
unique and powerful E-WDM driver for perfect compatibility with Windows
XP, 2000, ME, and 98SE, offering ultra low-latency performance with all
popular digital audio software applications including Nuendo, Cubase,
Gigastudio, Cakewalk, Sonar and Logic. In fact, any software that fully
supports Windows XP will support the E-WDM driver.
